The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is gearing up for an upcoming resurfacing project on Beaver Street (U.S. 90) between Stockton and Ocean streets. The $4.7 million resurfacing project is scheduled to begin in early March, weather permitting.
Those interested in the project are invited to attend the open house Wednesday, February 22 at FDOT’s Jacksonville Urban Office Training Building, 2198 Edison Avenue from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Project team members will be on-site to answer questions and discuss traffic impacts, construction activities and other project related details. Since this is an informal open house, no presentation is scheduled.
FDOT has selected Preferred Materials Inc., to complete the resurfacing work by early 2018.
Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability or family status as FDOT complies with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
