Do you recognize the interchange in this picture? While it might take a longtime Jacksonville motorist to identify the “before” picture, most visitors to the area near St. Johns Town Center and the University of North Florida today recognize the final photo: the J. Turner Butler Blvd./I-295 interchange.
Another project breaking ground this summer to reduce congestion on I-295 is the second express lanes project in Northeast Florida, spanning from Butler Blvd. to State Road 9B. Click here for more information about the project.
This week, FDOT will host a construction open house where residents, business owners, motorists, and other interested parties can meet the project team for the new express lanes project and get their questions answered or review project plans.
