FDOT releases traffic safety study for the I-295 Buckman Bridge in Jacksonville

Florida Department of Transportation, Northeast Florida District, has completed the traffic safety study for the Interstate 295 Buckman Bridge in Jacksonville.

A thorough analysis of the bridge, traffic and connecting interchanges was conducted to determine what, if anything, could be done to improve traffic safety.

Here is the summary of findings. The detailed study is more than 50 pages with drawings and is available for review at our urban office at 2198 Edison Avenue, Jacksonville. If you desire a pdf file of the full study please contact ron.tittle@dot.state.fl.us.
